Program(s) Available: B.A., Minor
Some people are just born with the gift of creativity. Do you consider yourself an abstract thinker? Do you love to create beautiful work? If so, you may consider the art major.
While many schools offer art majors, Northwest's program is different. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 21-to-1, Northwest offers students individualized attention and advice as they complete their artistic journey. Faculty walk students through the process of learning art fundamentals and crafting a professional portfolio. Students also have the opportunity to express themselves through various means and discover who they are as an artist.
A Bachelor of Arts in Art is available at Northwest. View the 4-year plan or catalog for courses and more information.
Did you know? A minor in art is available. This 24-credit-hour program walks students through the fundamentals of drawing, design and medieval or Renaissance to present-day art. After taking the required courses, students can customize their minor from a list of approved electives. To learn more, visit the academic catalog.
